| More than 200 T.W.O. staff and supporters took part in this year's Tee for T.W.O. Benefit Golf Outing, making it our most successful outing yet. T.W.O. was able to double attendance from last year's event and raise more than $100,000 in donations. |

| The Woodlawn Organization and the Metropolitan Apostolic Community Church held a free Women's Wellness Fair on Thursday, November 11. The mission of the fair was to educate women about their total beings, while motivating them to take a proactive approach to living a healthier life. Information focused on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of women of color in today's world. |

| The Chicago Defender and The Woodlawn Organization have partnered to create Drive the Vote, a non-partisan voter mobilization effort aimed at involving our youth in the election process and motivating the community to get out and vote. More than 1,400 students from the Chicago Public Schools have signed up to participate in an effort to mobilize and encourage voters to go to the polls.” |

| On Saturday, October 9, thousands of Woodlawn community residents came out to 63rd and Woodlawn for the first annual Woodlawn Community BlockFEST. Joining under the slogan of “Neighbors uniting for a Better and Safer Woodlawn,” residents enjoyed free food, free T.W.O. give-aways, and performances from groups such as the South Shore Drill Team and the Jessie White Tumblers. |
